A little sunshine.

I am trying to put events from my life into book form, but although I have been writing it for over a year I just can’t get up any enthusiasm to write just now. Perhaps it is because to write about it digs up a lot of baggage I have stored away.

I find the that the weather doesn’t help my mood either, I have spent a great deal of my time in the early part of the morning chasing the contents of the recycling bins around the garden. The wind and rain has been battering against the windows and the sea has been frothing at the mouth.

I need some sunshine, perhaps that’s why famous writers nipped off to Tuscany or some such place to get inspired. As it’s not in a practical walking distance; I shall just have to watch Michael Portillo on the telly instead. He went to Italy this week.

The writer in Ecclesiastes writes in Chapter 11 v 7

“Sunshine is sweet; it is good to see the light of day. 8 People ought to enjoy every day of their lives, no matter how long they live. ..

The Bible tells us, right from the beginning that there is a person behind Creation, and because of this; Michael Lloyd says, that if a Person is behind the whole shebang, then all creation becomes a trysting -place where we may meet our Lover.

You can look at your window and notice the smudges, smears  or bird -poo or you can look through it observe and explore, enjoy and revel.Creation is there to be beautiful and it doesn’t have to be sunny!

Time to do some editing I think.sunshine-(page-picture-large)
